Leave Your Prayer at the River

A three-week journey of exploration and discovery to reframe prayer

Group spiritual direction is about exploring and learning from each other. Where might your higher power, as you understand it, be working in your life?  How might you want to reframe God?  This group is for restorationist and others who desire to explore new ways of being with prayer.  The first session will offer some structure by beginning to look at different forms of prayer, where we can expand it, and expand it to out-of-the-box-thinking. During the second week we’ll explore “sung prayer” We’ll end our third week with more exploration and refection. Each session will contain a group spiritual direction period. During this time we’ll use a small group model to explore where we’re being led with prayer and the challenges of reframing prayer.

Gail and Paul are both in their second year working towards a certificate in spiritual direction and are studying in the program at Redlands University/San Francisco Theological Seminary.  They are both in supervision.

Rediscovering God

Group spiritual direction is about exploring and learning from each other. As the group takes on its own form we’ll see where we’re led.
